She’s helped institutions turn their recruitment ambitions into workable, human-centred strategies.
Her experience spans operations, partnerships, relationship management, recruitment and admissions, giving her a sharp understanding of what really drives – and sometimes derails – university success. She’s experienced first-hand how even the best strategies can falter without genuine understanding of institutional culture and process, and she’s made it her focus to help close that loop.
Colleagues describe her as dynamic yet calm, and always approachable, with a capacity to see both the forest and the trees. She brings warmth and precision in equal measure, equally at ease negotiating a partnership agreement as she is building trust over coffee with a new university contact. Suze believes good partnerships don’t start with a pitch; they start with empathy. Her goal is always to bring the right-fit solution to the table, not just the easiest one.

Before Edified
In her more than 11 years in higher education, Suze has worked her way from direct student conversion at Hobsons, to leading on outsourced operations for QS Enrolment Solutions. She helped significantly increase the enrolments of many UK universities while concurrently fostering a more positive pre-enrolment experience for prospective students. Her broad knowledge of strategy and product then propelled her career to the business development side of QS, and her instinctive and empathetic ability to build new relationships made her something of a star. At the recruitment organisations Adventus and HTI, she built smart solutions for external relations and recruitment teams, where student satisfaction was at the core.
After hours
Suze has a gift for helping people feel calm, capable and slightly more ready than they thought possible – which comes in handy in her other role as an Antenatal Practitioner. Each week she helps soon-to-be parents prepare for the wild, wonderful adventure of welcoming a baby (and for the startling absence of sleep that follows). When she’s off duty, Suze unwinds by baking treats that mysteriously disappear within hours, painting when inspiration strikes, and being loyally escorted around the neighbourhood by her dog, Scout, who firmly believes every walk should include at least one detour.
