Before Edified
Mark worked in international offices in Australian universities and TAFEs – notably as Director of International Marketing and Admissions at RMIT University. He was also Company Director for over 10 years at OCA Group and its subsidiaries: BPO Intelligence, Object Next Software and Oceanic Consultants – companies dedicated to improving the performance of education providers around the world through innovative IT-enabled services. More recently, he founded and sold StudyMe – a flipped recruitment platform.
After hours
Mark has worked in Russia, Spain and Turkey; skied Europe’s most spectacular runs; and adventured on a shoestring to remote corners of South America. But his favourite place is home, with family and his dog, Disco, having pizza and popcorn on a Friday movie night. His appreciation of the arts also stretches to spending weekends at his kids’ music recitals, as well as watching their sporting triumphs. However, for a man who’s always looking eagerly to the future, you’d be hard-pressed to get him to look up when he has a history book in his hands.
