Emi is a purpose-driven leader whose career spans the international education, vocational education and training (VET), higher education, and government sectors in Australia. Across these roles, she has consistently focused on strategic planning, improving systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing processes that empower teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
With a background in marketing, government relations, and education, Emi brings a rare blend of strategic insight and practical implementation experience. She has worked across all facets of international education including study abroad, English language, business development, recruitment, and policy.
An evidence-informed practitioner and researcher, Emi contributed to a landmark study exploring how early intercultural experiences shape careers in international education. Her work continues to be grounded in collaboration and data-driven insights, translating research into programs that support equitable access to education.
Driven by her desire to make a difference, Emi also founded the Carnelian Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation supporting children impacted by family violence and mental health challenges through access to positive extracurricular programs.
