Edified’s Enquiry Experience Tracker answers these questions and more.

The Enquiry Experience Tracker is a syndicated mystery shopping and benchmarking program developed by Edified and UniQuest. Our work helps higher education institutions understand how well they respond to enquiries from prospective students compared with local and global competitors.

This year we mystery shopped 107 universities globally across Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe, and North America. Our mystery shoppers represented a range of undergraduate and postgraduate students from key markets. They placed enquiries with each institution and we evaluated the results.

While Australia, Wales, and Sweden appear to be leading the world in student experience, the research reveals a significant missed opportunity when it comes to prospective student enquiries.

Around 1 in 5 enquiries placed during the research did not receive a reply and only 1 in 4 prospective students received any follow-up communication.
